The Member Survey
We have introduced a national survey of the views of members of occupational pension schemes. It is our aim that this survey will become the benchmark by which we can measure progress within the industry. Individual schemes and administrators will be able to measure their success in service delivery.
Third Party Administrators and individual schemes have to be registered to participate in the survey, which runs continuously. The results are analysed at least twice a year (more frequently if the number of submissions allows).
The results of the survey are published on a national basis and used to update the GSAS in line with members' expectations. It is not our intention to create league tables, although participants will be able to access their own results and compare them with the national average.
The Pensions Regulator has expressed interest in the survey as a measure of the progress the industry is making.
